What's the Difference Between the Expat Pass Proxy and the "Free" Proxies?

There are three major differences.

1. Location, Location, Location

If the proxy isn't in the UK, you won't be able to see certain popular websites which you can see with a proxy in the UK (ours is in London).

2. We Have the Best-optimized Routes from Turkey to the UK, Which Means Smoother Streaming and Faster Downloads

The Expat Pass proxy is the only proxy on the Web which specializes in access to the UK from Turkey. We have the best-optimized routes, with the least number of "nodes" between you and the content you want to see. 3. No Advertising!

Anyone who operates a proxy server has costs associated with running that server, so actually there are no "free" proxies. The free proxies cover their costs by displaying advertising. We don't. They even display adverts in a way that it appears to be on the website you're viewing.

Below are some examples of surfing for content with a free proxy, then with the Expat Pass London proxy (no adverts--you don't even notice you're using a proxy).

Free Proxy 1 (Adverts):

If you use a free proxy, first you have to go to the free proxy's web site first, shown on the left. Here you'll see the first round of advertisements. You then enter the web address of the website you're really trying to visit (the option will be somewhere on the page). You must do this each time you want to access any site which is inaccessible from where you are. See a larger screenshot here.

Free Proxy 2 (More Adverts):

After you enter the web address of the website you want, you'll get more ads. Most of the free proxies sneak in advertisements that you won't see with the Expat Pass proxy. Note the extremely large movie advert, and also the smaller advert above that. Compare this screenshot with the Expat Pass view at the bottom (it's not there with our proxy). Free Proxy 3: Where's the Content?

We tested multiple free proxies, and found lots of examples where thumbnails or other parts of a website were not viewable as you see on the left. So you may also get this with the "free" proxies. See a larger screenshot here.
